My photography career began in 1957 at age 6 in Los Angeles. My mother let me use a Kodak Brownie box camera, and I’ve been passionate about photography ever since. 1966 was the year I met Claire Steinberg, past editor of Popular Photography, who became my art teacher and mentor. The next couple of years I spent hours in the darkroom watching the magic develop in front of my eyes. 1971 was the start of my retail photo career that spanned 24 years. I managed camera stores, photo labs, and pro studios. I co-owned a camera store in Portland Oregon, taught photography, and watched many of my students become famous.
In 2002 I started Integrated Images, featuring my own photography. Within a short time I had work hanging in Palm Springs, Beverly Hills, N.Y. and Florida. The Integrated Images name was born out of my desire to integrate light, form, color, emotion, and 30 years of experience.
My lifelong goal is to master the art of seeing into visual reproduction that stimulates the minds and emotions of my viewers.
